These willow weaving courses and rural craft workshops concentrate on using natural materials which are locally abundant and do not rely on the use of fossil fuels to use or produce. These courses are especially for people who love to submerge themselves in our natural world. Please scroll to the foot of this page to see some of my long standing experience as a tutor.
Accommodation: There is a good selection of ‘B&B’s’, hotels and caravan sites in the Sherborne area and ‘wild camping’ is available close by – more details on request.
Booking and Cancellation policy: Full payment will be required in advance of the day in order to secure your booking. Please note that should a booking have to be cancelled a full refund will only be offered if more than three weeks notice (from start date of workshop) is given. If the organiser has to cancel a full refund will be offered. Minimum and maximum numbers will apply to each workshop. NB – placement on the courses does not infer the right to intellectual property.
Dogs: If you have dogs with you they will not be allowed out at the venue, although car parking is close by to the work space and there are footpaths and bridleways right outside of the gate, so you will easily be able to walk them during the day.
All courses listed include refreshments, materials and use of tools. Please bring your own pic-nic lunch and ensure that you wear your work clothes.
