From my time travelling along the lanes and by-ways of Britain I developed a love of horse-drawn vehicles – particularly the beautifully decorated bow top and ledge wagons. I built my first bow-top in 1997 and since then have built, restored or decorated quite a few . I was fortunate enough to have the absolute pleasure of learning traditional gold leaf techniques from John Pockett – a master of wagon and fair ground painting. From time to time I take on restoration or decorating projects.
